Oh its about that time of year when nothing is better than drinking a pim’s cup with some friends with a breeze to help cool you off. This is another image I took from my brother’s wedding last June. I just love the colors!

Who doesn’t love a good cake? Or better yet a lovely cupcake? All I think when I see this image is “yoink!” and how I could probably eat 10 of the mini cupcakes at one time.

This week I wanted to post some details shots, one a day, to go along with beautiful weather we are having (and lets hope it continues!). This first shot is from my brother’s wedding back in June. I love the dreamy quality it has… this definitely makes me think of summer time.

So, Spring has been peeking its head around the corner up here, but has not decided to stay just yet. As a way to coax it out, I thought I would post some nice, sunny, spring time pics (even though these were taken on a weirdly warm day back in February). This was documentation of my first time to walk the brooklyn bridge even though I have been here almost 2 years. My hubby and our pup, Bonnie, went along as well even if she wasn’t exactly excited about it at some points. Take a look…

…relaxing on the ride back home…

After the ceremony and reception ended, I took Mandy and Matt on a portrait session through downtown Nashville. We started out at the Standard, went down Broadway by all of the Honky-Tonks and ended up at the beautiful Union Station Hotel. They were such troopers and it made for such a great shoot! Here are some of my favorites from the end of the day…

Thanks Mandy and Matt for such a great day!
I have been wanting to post these images since the minute I took them. At the end of March I was so happy to be in Nashville shooting Mandy & Matt’s wedding. We had such a great time on their engagement shoot in NY, I knew the wedding would be amazing! They had the ceremony and reception at The Standard at the Smith House, a beautiful townhouse from the 1840′s in downtown Nashville. Here are a few of my favorites from the day… starting with some getting ready shots…

Welcome to my first blog post! At the end of March I shot an amazing wedding in my hometown (Nashville, TN) but first I thought I would introduce the couple by sharing their engagement shots. Mandy and Matt are also southerners living in NY and are so easy going (which makes my job a whole lot easier). We had a lovely shoot very early in the morning (gotta get that great morning light!) around Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Take a look…
We started out in this little coffee shop…
