At the end of October I headed out on my own to go on a trip that I was hoping would be inspiring in every way. I was on my way to a villa in Tuscany where I would be greeted by the amazing photographers Jose Villa and Gene Higa for a workshop. The next few days were a blur of information, food, wine, and creativity… and it is hard to put into words to describe what I came away with from this experience. I am so thankful that I was able to meet all of the wonderful photographers from around the world who attended the workshop and I truly look forward to seeing how these new relationships will grow. And I am also especially thankful for Jose and Gene’s openness and encouragement that they were so willing to give to us. Last but not least, photographers Ann Hamilton and Jen Curtis and filmmaker Joel Serrato truly did an incredible job helping out Jose and Gene run the workshop and were just as willing to share their advice and experiences. It is an understatement to simply say that I was inspired…
… below are some images from around the beautiful villas where we stayed for the week (La Selva Giardino del Belvedere and the Borgi di Fontebussi). In the future if you are ever looking for a place to stay in hills of Tuscany, I would recommend these villas in a heartbeat. Enjoy!

GORGEOUS!! So many of these took my breath away and had me in wonderment and reminiscing about our trip… I love to see everyone’s angles and take through their lenses… great work!
