Shortbread is a weakness of mine. I picked this up from Fortnum & Mason while in London and it is disappearing quickly!

I just got back from a quick jaunt across the pond to visit family and my old stomping ground, London. Here are a few images that sum up the trip a bit…

A few weeks ago, I spent an afternoon doing a shoot for a new skin care company called Willagirl. Their motto is “start young, stay young” and their goal is for girls to learn to take care of and protect their skin from a young age (something I wish I did when I was younger!). Here are a few images from the shoot we did:

These macarons are from Madeleine Patisserie (I went down there on a suggestion. Thanks Jen!). This was my first time to eat a macaron and they are so delicious… unfortunately I didn’t write down all of the different flavors I chose, but I was able to remember most of them: chocolate, caramel fleur de sel, vanilla, pistachio, lavender nougat and rose. Enjoy!

Today the lovely, fabulous and oh-so-talented Mrs. Lilien launched her new website (take a look here and check it out… you may see a few images shot by yours truly). Her blog is read far and wide and is a great place to go for inspiration of all kinds. Definitely keep an eye on this talented lady!
…come back to see a few more images from the shoot I did with the Mrs.
These cookies can make a person weak in the knees (in a good way) and they just happen to be made not very far from me at Levain Bakery. The top one is dark chocolate and peanut butter chip and the bottom cookie is your classic chocolate chip with walnuts. I dare you to try them and not LOVE every bite. I see a cookie intervention in my future…

I got this bundle of eye candy in the mail last week and knew it had to be shared… Jen and Scott are clients of mine that are getting married in a few months and this is their awesome invite. Studio Jones was responsible for creating these little lovelies and you can view more of their work at their etsy store here. I can’t wait to capture Jen and Scott’s wedding in a few months time!
