more to come from Erin & Ozzy’s shoot soon…
This was the first year for me to see the NYC Marathon in person and I knew I wanted to document it in some way in addition to the candids from the previous post… so I decided to ask runners who had just finished if I could take their portrait, just as they were. Everyone I encountered was so proud of their accomplishment (rightly so) and also so humbled that I would want to photograph them that I was never met with a “no”. This is what the back end of 26.2 miles looks like.
A long weekend spent with friends in Montpelier, VT… walks in the park, farmer’s market pizza, beautiful fall colors, local brews, sharp vermont cheddar cheese… a great way to relax on a weekend off.
My little bro is quite the chef, among other things, and I love cooking with him whenever we find ourselves in the same city. We recently delved into the amazing meatball recipe from the Frankies Spuntino cookbook (and paired it with their caesar salad as well) with great success. So delicious! This has definitely become my favorite cookbook as of late and I love the hand drawn illustrations throughout (You can pick it up here).
One of my favorite shots from Courtney & Kevin’s wedding up in the Adirondacks. This is Courtney coming down the stairs in her wedding dress for the first time followed by her sisters. More to come from this beautiful celebration.
