This is the beginning of a series of images of NYC that I hope to continue for a long time. All images shot on Ilford 3200 (rated at 1600) at f16. Though unintentional, I like the timeless feel that seems to run through each one.
Betsy & Rob were married last weekend but I wanted to post a little sneak peek from her bridal portrait session we did a couple of weeks earlier. More to come as soon as the film gets back!
While in Palm Springs a few weeks back I stayed at The Ace Hotel. We had such a good time when we stayed at their NYC location that I thought I should try this one out too and it did not disappoint! You must try the sangria while lounging by the pool… I have plans to be in Seattle and Portland later this year so maybe I can get a full house visit them all!
My grandparents celebrated 6o years of marriage a few weeks ago. They spent the afternoon outdoors singing hymns with three of their daughters. (And that’s my beautiful mom in the bottom photo!)
A few more from Joshua Tree… I wanted to photograph these rock formations up close to give them a more abstract feel. I love the sculptural qualities that they have.
