washington travels

All of these are from a short trip to Washintgon state- a little bit in Seattle, but mostly on Orcas Island which is part of the San Juan Islands. All shot on the rollei. And if any jump out at you, you can purchase prints here.

A few shots at dusk in Central Park from the first roll taken on my Rollei. I’ve been wanting to add square format to my shooting for a while now. Really loving the results I’m getting with this camera. Beautiful bokeh!

blackberry cobbler

Nothing can top a delicious blackberry cobbler in the summer time. My sister and I have made this recipe many times and it is always a big hit.

farmers market

A lazy sunday morning and a trip to the farmers market yielded this delicious bounty. I used the blackberries to make one of my favorite desserts… blackberry cobbler. Photos of that to come soon.

on the road

I’ll be on the road for the next week, so email replies might be a little slow. Until then… here is a look at Joshua Tree (another Holga photo taken with slide film and then cross-processed).

nyc holga

Taken with the Holga on the bulb setting using color transparency film that was cross-processed. Sometimes the city can be so peaceful and other times you can feel the vibrations.

coney island

Downtown Franklin has that look of another era- when everything took a little bit longer but that wait seemed to make the end result a bit more satisfying. It reminds me of riding my bike with friends, running through sprinklers, family cookouts and catching lightning bugs as the sun set.
