destination weddings or things shots on my many travels

mr. sweet

Brandon modeled for the FIND workshop I attended in Seattle this summer. I was looking through some of my shots and loved this combination of the Rollei and Tri-X.

claire + matt

This lovely philadelphia wedding is featured on Snippet & Ink today! Hop on over to see what Claire & Matt had to say about their wedding day.

out of the office

I will be traveling out of the country this week, so email replies might be a little slow. Excited to have some relaxing time with the hubs.

washington travels

All of these are from a short trip to Washintgon state- a little bit in Seattle, but mostly on Orcas Island which is part of the San Juan Islands. All shot on the rollei. And if any jump out at you, you can purchase prints here.

on the road

I’ll be on the road for the next week, so email replies might be a little slow. Until then… here is a look at Joshua Tree (another Holga photo taken with slide film and then cross-processed).

franklin

Downtown Franklin has that look of another era- when everything took a little bit longer but that wait seemed to make the end result a bit more satisfying. It reminds me of riding my bike with friends, running through sprinklers, family cookouts and catching lightning bugs as the sun set.

the ace: palm springs

While in Palm Springs a few weeks back I stayed at The Ace Hotel. We had such a good time when we stayed at their NYC location that I thought I should try this one out too and it did not disappoint! You must try the sangria while lounging by the pool… I have plans to be in Seattle and Portland later this year so maybe I can get a full house visit them all!

rock formations

A few more from Joshua Tree… I wanted to photograph these rock formations up close to give them a more abstract feel. I love the sculptural qualities that they have.
