The Ace Hoteldidn’t require much traveling beyond a cab ride (they have hotels in Portland, Seattle and Palm Springs as well NYC) but we stayed there for a special occasion and loved it…
anna russell + christopher
Anna Russell and Christopher are getting married in a few weeks and we were able to do this shoot at the house where the reception will be held. I can only imagine that this setting is going to look even more amazing on their wedding night. Despite the rainy weather, the shoot was great thanks to Anna Russell and Chris’ great attitudes! Thanks so much for letting me drag you two through the mud and can’t wait to see you in May!
costa rica
I have spent the past week relaxing with my husband and a friend in Mal Pais, Costa Rica, a laid-back surfing town on the Nicoya Peninsula. All of this greenery was less than 20 feet from the door of where we stayed… to say it was beautiful is an understatement. I also brought my holga and sx-70 along and will share some of those images soon.
susan + lance
Susan and Lance were married in Nashville on a beautiful spring day a few weeks ago. Susan and I have known each other since we were little kids, so it was such an honor to be able to capture this day for her. The entire day was filled with so many people who adore Susan and Lance and it really shows. I wish you two all of the best on your new life together!
