hadley + ryan

This beautiful fête held in Nashville last year and planned by the fabulous Easton Events was full of southern charm and even had a little nod back to the UK with the gentlemen donning morning suits (classic attire worn by gentlemen at British Weddings). Hadley and Ryan were surrounded by friends and family as they celebrated the beginning of their lives together and it could not have been more fun to document. It is pretty cold here in London so I hope looking at these images brings you a little warmth where ever you are. And a special thanks to Brett Price for shooting with me on the day!

leah + nathan

2013 brought me so many amazing clients and with the celebration of the new year I’ve finally gotten together the time to gather images from the past year and share them with you. Leah and Nathan call New York home but New Orleans holds a special place in their hearts and that’s where they decided to tie the knot last spring. Here are a few of my favorites from their celebration…

honey harvest

Back in July the lovely Anna and Tassja of Juniper & Lily held a honey harvest event for Kinfolk Magazine in London. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast made by the two of them as we learned all about the art of beekeeping from Stephen, who tends to multiple hives throughout London, and even showed us a working hive first hand. We ended the day by infusing our own honey with different herbs and spices to take home. The entire day was a great event from start to finish and who knows, maybe beekeeping is in my future!

willa winter shoot

A few images from a lifestyle shoot done last winter for Willa skincare.

Just a few portraits on the streets of NYC after their beautiful ceremony. Sometimes five minutes is all you need to capture the glow from a newly married bride & groom.

bethany + william

William (and now Bethany too!) is an old friend of my husband and mine. I just love the classic look that these two had on their wedding day. Just wanted to post a little bit of loveliness today.

madeline + josh

You may remember this cute couple from their engagement shoot. Well, Madeline & Josh had the sweetest wedding day on a beautiful farm in Tennessee and just managed to miss the rain by a few minutes after the ceremony ended. I also loved that they were announced as “Mr. and Mrs.” to the song “Son of a Preacher Man” which is fitting as Josh is the son of a preacher. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I did taking them!

stephanie + norman

From the moment I first met Stephanie & Norman, I knew their wedding day was a story I wanted to document. We met at a coffee shop in NYC, they arrived on their bikes (helmets in tow) and had brought polaroids and photo books that documented their relationship. One of the first things Stephanie said to me was, “If I walked away with 10 polaroids from the day, I would be happy.” I was sold!

These two had already put so much thought and care into their plans, literally every detail you see below was created by them. I think my favorite detail was that for years Stephanie had been collecting polaroid cameras and film to hand out to their guests on the day. And that hand sewn quilt- amazing! You can probably tell that I was like a kid in a candy store and it was such an honor to add to Stephanie & Norman’s story.
