christine + jason

After my shoot in LA, I headed to Palm Springs to meet up with Christine and Jason. This was our first time to meet in person and they showed me some beautiful spots that I wouldn’t have found on my own. Looking forward to seeing you two back east in a few months! You can view the entire shoot here.

toby + henry

I made a trip to SoCal at the end of February (a nice break from the Manhattan winter!) to photograph some clients who are getting married later this year. My first stop was in Los Angeles where I got to spend the day hanging out with Toby & Henry at their local haunts. I’ve known Toby forever but haven’t seen her in ages and I loved getting see her again and meet Henry (And I fell in love with their house… I was serious about that home swap if you ever want to come to NYC, though you may get the short end of the deal). You can view the entire shoot here.

gina + tom

Gina & Tom’s wedding was such a fun celebration and a great way to kickoff the wedding season! There were so many beautiful elements but I think my favorite detail of the day was that Gina wore her mother’s wedding dress (it was altered from the original) and it made for such a unique and personal detail. Thank you so much Gina & Tom for letting me be there to join in on the fun and a special thanks to Laura Ivanova who shot with me!

radio silence

Sorry it’s been quiet over here recently… I’ve been shooting and traveling and have lots of film off at the lab right now, so get ready for some more posting very soon!

sneak peek

This was taken right as Gina and her father arrived at the church, only a moment before the ceremony began. I just love the excitement showing on her face! More to come from this beautiful winter wedding soon.

A few shots from the table we set up for our big Christmas dinner.

tennessee christmas

This year R. and I got to spend the holidays with family in Tennessee and take part in some of our favorite traditions, one of them being a HUGE brunch on Christmas morning.  It involves an insane amount of food… country ham, biscuits, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese grits, sausage wheels, fresh fruit, tamales (a tradition started by my dad’s brother who used to send us fresh ones from Texas), etc.  Needless to say, you definitely need a nap to recover from the food induced coma that follows.  And this was just breakfast!  More from our holiday dinner soon…

anne + nate

Anne and Nate’s wedding was a beautiful fall celebration from beginning to end.  These two didn’t stop laughing and smiling through the entire portrait session… they were truly lovely to photograph and spend the day with.  Anne and Nate, thanks so much for letting me document your beautiful wedding!  You can view the entire gallery here.
